Unfolding into Light is a deeply expressive mixed-media painting that explores transformation, inner freedom, and the sacred process of becoming. Executed in acrylic paint enriched with texture and luminous gold leaf, the work captures a moment suspended between surrender and awakening.

At the center of the composition, a female figure tilts her face upward, eyes closed, immersed in a state of trust and receptivity. She appears neither asleep nor fully awake, but rather in a liminal space where the soul listens to something greater than itself. Her upward gaze suggests a longing for transcendence, a willingness to release control and embrace the unknown.

Above her, a series of vibrant blue birds ascend through a radiant circular form adorned with gold leaf. The birds function as symbols of liberation, hope, and spiritual evolution.
